Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy protects Pacorda, Inc., enterprise customers, authorized users, financial partners, counterparties, and the public. It applies to Pacorda websites, demonstrations, APIs, integrations, accounts, communications, and production services.
Authorized enterprise use
Use Pacorda only for legitimate, authorized business activity within the scope approved for the enterprise. Users must follow their organization’s authority, approval, payment, security, privacy, and recordkeeping policies.
Illegal and abusive activity
You may not use Pacorda to violate law; facilitate fraud, theft, deception, corruption, bribery, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, tax evasion, trafficking, illegal gambling, or prohibited goods; disguise ownership or transaction purpose; or harm another party.
Payment and compliance misuse
You may not initiate or support unauthorized payments, misdirect funds, falsify invoices, manipulate beneficiary information, submit fabricated settlement evidence, abuse refunds or reversals, use stolen accounts, evade controls, structure activity to avoid review, conceal beneficial ownership or payment purpose, or represent a demonstration as a real transaction.
You may not use Pacorda to transact with sanctioned or prohibited persons, jurisdictions, entities, goods, or services; circumvent sanctions, anti-money-laundering, anti-bribery, export-control, tax, or provider restrictions; or provide false information in a know-your-business, ownership, PEP, adverse-media, source-of-funds, or transaction review.
Identity and account misuse
Do not impersonate a person or organization, share production credentials, enroll an authenticator for another user without authority, circumvent multi-factor authentication, maintain inaccurate authorized-user lists, or attempt account takeover.
Security restrictions
Do not introduce malware; conduct denial-of-service activity; scan, probe, exploit, or test vulnerabilities without written authorization; access nonpublic data; bypass rate limits; interfere with logging; reverse engineer restricted functionality; or publish vulnerability details outside the Responsible Disclosure process.
Data and privacy
Do not submit personal, confidential, financial, or regulated information without authority and a lawful purpose. Do not use Pacorda to collect excessive information, profile individuals unlawfully, or violate privacy, employment, communications, or data-localization obligations.
Intellectual property and competition
Do not infringe intellectual-property rights, copy protected materials, remove notices, scrape at disruptive volume, use demonstrations to reconstruct proprietary technology, or create a service designed to confuse users about affiliation with Pacorda or StreamLnk.
Automated use
Automation must use approved interfaces, credentials, volumes, and purposes. Bots, agents, scripts, or integrations must not evade controls, create misleading activity, overload systems, or take consequential payment actions outside authorized enterprise policy.
Monitoring and enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations; preserve relevant records; limit, reject, or suspend activity; require remediation or re-verification; notify affected enterprises or providers; and cooperate with lawful authorities. Enforcement decisions consider security, legal, operational, financial, and reputational risk.
Reporting misuse
Report suspected fraud, account misuse, or policy violations to [email protected]. Do not include active credentials or unnecessary sensitive data. Imminent threats should also be reported to appropriate authorities.
